Clear Return and Exchange Policy

To start a return or report damages upon delivery, you can contact us at sales@avebags.com.  Please send photos of any issues or concerns you have via email.  If your return is accepted, we’ll send instructions on how and where to send your package.  The original owner of the handbag must be the one to initiate the return or exchange.

[First 30 Days] First month

We have a 30-day hassle-free return policy, which means you have 7 days after receiving your item to request a return or exchange.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the unused condition with tags (if any), and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase to be included in the return package.

Canadian orders will receive a pre-paid shipping label.  We cannot include shipping for other countries as we use Canada Post as our preferred carrier.  Items sent back to us without first requesting a return via e-mail will not be accepted.

[First 48 hours] Damages Upon Delivery

Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.  We will work with the shipping company's insurance provider to make this right.  You have 48-hours after receipt of package (according to delivery company web site), to request this.

We reserve the right to request the product back as we pride ourselves on less waste, and donating these items as best allows.

Two Years

This policy applies exactly two years after the original purchase date as identified on our system.  If you experience any defects in build quality not caused intentionally, by third parties or by use or neglect you may request a store credit.  A photo sent to the above e-mail with pictures of the bag or wallet should be sent.  A store credit equal to 50% of the value of the purchase price of the bag will be issued.

We reserve the right to request the product back as we pride ourselves on less waste, and donating these items as best allows.  Shipping is not included for this option.

Exceptions / non-returnable items

Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on clearance items or gift cards.

Refund Method

We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method (if possible).  A store credit for the two-year option will be in the form of an electronic gift card. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.
